villa väster
Väster7
Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden
160 sqm
31/10/2003

Rather than blowing up the rocky site the topography was accentuated, three house volumes on different levels follow the slope and create pleasant places around the house.

The villa has a modern austere expression, the matte black colour is selected to pick up the natural colour range and give the house a weight that anchors it in the ground. White window frames lightens up the façade.

The interior is white and airy with an open design that gives the building a greater sense than its 160 square meters. Terraces and balconies aerases the limit between outside and inside.
