The Swedish Fire Protection Association (SFPA) is on one hand a modern communication and education company, on the other hand a traditional interest organisation. We chose to demonstrate this with two contrasting colour and design themes in the new premises in Liljeholmen, just south of Stockholm city.

The modern, efficient and extrovert themes are symbolized by the bright, red colours and simple linear shapes – this theme dominates the educational part and communication routes.

The second theme is derived from the Swedish countryside and provides a tranquil work environment in the internal office parts. Here we have worked with more traditional materials and custom-made wallpaper and frosted glass walls with birch motives.
