The mountain cabin Skarven comes in two sizes: LillSkarven and StorSkarven (Little Skarven and Big Skarven). They are constructed for the climate and design tradition of the Swedish mountains of Härjedalen. The facades are descrete and rough, historically rooted in the “barn architecture” of western Härjedalen.

Building materials and technical installations are of a very high quality and have been carefully chosen for durability, low energy use and right “touch”. The interior is clad with plywood and slate, which give the house a strong materiality and contrast to the white winter landscape.

Eight mountain cabins are produced in Bruksvallarna. They are built with a core of prefabricated wall- and roof elements.
