The Swedish Cancer Society finances the majority of cancer related research in Sweden. Meeting the special demands that the Swedish Cancer Society´s activites puts on their working environment and lobby areas were the main concern of this project. Equally important was to reflect the organisation’s values and culture in the design. The office spaces have been arranged around a central atrium which becomes the heart of the office. That space doubles as a venue for briefs and meetings as well as a more informal lounge area.

The lobby is open to family and relatives, maybe wanting to create a memorial fund or seek information about the disease, as well as to the general public.
