pS Arkitektur has a new employee! Göran Eriksson takes over from our intern Emilie Folkersen, who is going back to Denmark to finish her studies. Göran has a bachelor degree from Umeå School of Architecture. Welcome to pS!

This morning Leif visited the building site to look at how the villa in Nacka develops. Slowly but steadily a fantastic home takes its shape, and it really will be one of its kind with the distinct form and expression.

New home page design

Today we’re launching the new design of our home page! During the winter we’ve worked with cleaning up the layout and make the site more easily available, delete contents out of date and add new content. The competent guys at WTMG have rebuilt the site and helped us realize our ideas. News for this year is that we now have profiles at facebook and twitter, in the upper right corner you’ll find links to click. We’d be happy if you’ll follow us and write to us in any of those forums!

We’re happy to welcome our new employee Emilie Westergaard Folkersen today! Emilie has studied in Aarhus, Denmark and Dublin, Ireland, and worked in Oslo before she came to us.

pS won first prize for Skype in China!

We’re happy to announce that pS won an award for the Skype office design in the ninth “Modern Decoration International Media Award.” The gala and awards have huge media distinction in Asia and Pacific areas, and generates more and more intrest and influence throughout the rest of the World as well. The Media Awards are international and thousands of projects are submitted every year. pS Arkitektur was nominated ni two categories and won the ”Annual Outstanding Designer Award 2011.” Out of 5000 competitors, pS Arkitektur was one out of 6 winners to share the first prize. The jury emphazised “honest design.” The designen needs to have a real, rational and vivid feel.
